Her breakthrough Bright Line Eating program has helped participants from 103 countries to release more than 300,000 pounds in the last three years. She uses cutting-edge research to explain how the brain blocks the formation of healthy habits — and to illuminate a proven pathway to food freedom.
Dean Ornish, M.D.
is founder of the nonprofit Preventive Medicine Research Institute, Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCSF, and author of six bestselling books, including The Spectrum. The Ornish diet has been rated “#1 for heart health” by U.S. News & World Report every year since 2011, and is the first lifestyle program to be covered by Medicare. Caldwell Esselstyn, M.D.
is a surgeon and author of the bestselling book Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease. He has produced more than 150 scientific publications and conducted a series of groundbreaking studies that helped solidify the foundation of plant-based nutrition to fight disease. He was awarded the first-ever Benjamin Spock Award for Compassion in Medicine in 2005, as well as the 2015 Plantrician Project Luminary Award, and many other recognitions for his achievements. In 1956, he received a gold medal in rowing at the Olympic Games, and in 1968, as an Army surgeon in Vietnam, he was awarded the Bronze Star. Currently, he directs the Cardiovascular Disease Prevention and Reversal Program at the Cleveland Clinic Wellness Institute.
